Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Nguyễn Văn Cao tiếp Tổng Giám đốc Cục nước Yokohama – Nhật Bản
Sáng 29/8, tại Văn phòng UBND tỉnh, Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Nguyễn Văn Cao đã tiếp ông Takahiro Yamaguma, Tổng Giám đốc Cục nước Yokohama – Nhật Bản.
Tại buổi tiếp, ông Takahiro Yamaguma cảm ơn sự tiếp đón nồng hậu của Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh đã dành cho ông và đoàn công tác của Cục nước Yokohama; đồng thời giới thiệu về lịch sử lâu đời và các hợp tác quốc tế của Cục nước Yokohama, đặc biệt nhấn mạnh đến sự hợp tác giữa Cục nước Yokohama và Công ty TNHH NN MTV Xây dựng và Cấp nước Thừa Thiên Huế (HueWACO) và cho rằng kết quả hợp tác tốt đẹp giữa Cục nước Yokohama và HueWACO vì mục tiêu cấp nước an toàn cho người dân tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế thời gian qua có sự hỗ trợ thiết thực của lãnh đạo UBND tỉnh và các ban, ngành liên quan.
Ông Takahiro Yamaguma cho biết, ngày mai (30/8), Cục nước Yokohama và HueWACO sẽ tổ chức hội thảo tổng kết 13 năm hợp tác giữa hai bên để đánh giá toàn diện, làm cơ sở mở ra hợp tác mới trong thời gian tới và mong muốn sẽ nhận được sự hỗ trợ nhiều hơn của UBND tỉnh cho sự hợp tác này.
Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Nguyễn Văn Cao đánh giá cao kết quả hợp tác giữa Cục nước Yokohama và HueWACO đã góp phần quan trọng nâng cao năng lực cấp nước của tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế và hy vọng rằng, hợp tác nay sẽ được tiếp tục mở rộng hơn trong tương lai. UBND tỉnh rất hoan nghênh, ủng hộ và tạo điều kiện thuận lợi nhất cho sự hợp tác của hai bên vì mục tiêu phát triển lớn mạnh của HueWACO. Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh cho biết, Thừa Thiên Huế đã thiết lập mối quan hệ hợp tác gần gủi cấp chính quyền địa phương với một số địa phương của Nhật Bản và mong muốn trong thời gian đến sẽ thiết lập được mối hệ này với thành phố Yokohama.
