The concrete is being laid with expansion joints every 12m with 6m saw cuts which is in line with industry standards.Sand is a great compacting material especially when wet and tracked in with a 5 ton bulldozer so there shouldn't be any compaction issues.Regarding washouts, we have just had 250mm of rain over the past 5 days so with this volume of water in such a short period of time washouts are practically unavoidableAlso once the turf and native grasses that tie into the cart path mature (deeper roots) and the mulch settles then all these become very good soil stabilisers.I recall this issue was brought up when we started cart paths on Phase I (hole #3) now the tie ins on holes # 2,3,4,6,7,8 have settled and stabilised nicely.
