We approached 2100 emergency physicians from4 countries (Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and theUnited States) to participate in our survey by sampling themembership of their emergency associations. We used amodified Dillman technique with 3–5 notifications and aprenotification letter employing a combination of electronicmail and postal mail. Physicians were questioned about neurologicallyintact patients who presented with headache.Analysis included both descriptive statistics for the entiresample and stratification by country.
