When
comparing the results of this study to study one, it becomes
clear that providing an adaptable calibration routine largely
contributes to the accessibility of full-body motion-control
for institutionalized older adults and enabled participants to
engage in play regardless of individual impairments.
However, results also show that most participants could not
participate in free play on their own. This lends itself to the
conclusion that free play is not suitable for elderly without
prior gaming experience.
