Penelitian ini berlatarbelakang hal-hal sebagai berikut : (1) Salah satu Misi yang diusung Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) sebagai sebuah Perguruan Tinggi dengan Visi menjadi Universitas Pelopor dan Unggul (A Leading and Outstanding University), adalah mengembangkan teori-teori pendidikan dan keilmuan lain yang inovatif serta penerapannya untuk menjadi landasan dalam penetapan kebijakan pendidikan nasional; (2) Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi FPIPS UPI, yang bertujuan mencetak calon-calon guru Sosiologi yang profesional di bidangnya, menganggap penting penerapan model pembelajaran Portofolio dalam Mata Kuliah Belajar dan Pembelajaran Sosiologi, guna penumbuhkembangan kepedulian sosial para mahasiswanya; (3) Melalui fokus pembelajaran yang dikonsentrasikan pada keaktifan mahasiswa dalam aspek fisik, intelektual, sosial, mental, emosional dan spiritual, diharapkan mampu menumbuhkembangkan kepedulian sosial dalam diri mahasiswa, sebagai bekal dalam kiprahnya untuk menjadi makhluk sosial yang diharapkan di masyarakatnya kelak.

Results (English) 1:
