Minat dan Animo Lulusan SLTA yang ingin melanjutkan ke Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi sampai saat ini cukup banyak. Pada tahun 2013/2014 secara nasional peminat dari SLTA sebanyak 1274 peserta, pada tahun 2014/2015 secara nasional peminat dari SLTA sebanyak 1415 peserta, Dosen tetap program studi Pendidikan Ekonomi terdiri sebanyak 18 orang dosen.
