Trainees should not have high expectations of getting a high monthly income and this is a training program for their own future, different from a monthly salaried worker. This certification and the skills training we put in will give them a better position when the AEC is formed end of next year.
If they are already earning so much more than the Seedlings program, why would they want to waste their time for an 18-month training?
We need to also put more pressure on these organizations that we are supporting and document this as a formality to them on their trainees who have quit just a few days after being on the program. These organizations need to have better screening process and criteria of the candidates before they recommend anyone to us. If they quit just days into the program, they are wasting their time and our time, and the opportunity could have been given to other more deserving candidates
