Ngày 12/6 tổng số người chết do lở đất, lũ và sét đánh tại miền đông nam Banladesh đã lên đến 107 người. Hơn 50 người vẫn còn mất tích. Khu vực bị ảnh hưởng nặng nhất là một khi ổ chuột đông đúc ở thành phố Chittagong nhiều đồi núi.
Nhà chức trách đã sơ tán hàng trăm người đến các trường học xây bằng bê tông. Chính phủ và các tổ chức từ thiện đã phân phát nước và thực phẩm cho khoảng 1000 người bị mất nhà cửa
