Era globalisasi dan demokratisasi yang tanpa batas yang dialami bangsa Indonesia dewasa ini, membuat Pancasila dan wawasan kebangsaan semakin sulit dan marjinal dalam menghadapi lingkungan strategis yang selalu berubah dari waktu ke waktu. Tak dapat dipungkiri lagi, di era reformasi kedudukan Pancasila seolah kurang mendapat perhatian dari berbagai pihak, ada semacam kekhawatiran mengangkat Pancasila bisa dianggap tidak reformis. Sudah saatnya kita harus mengembalikan Pancasila sebagai jati diri dan karakter bangsa.
