This is a good book. However, its title is a misnomer and should be something like "the permeable organization."And the book's claim-to represent a paradigm shift that is the driving force making the current array of innovative organizations possible-is incorrect.Today's organizational innovations, along with reengineering, downsizing, globalization, and the like are all driven by the technological revolution based on computer applications. What makes this a good book, nevertheless, is its comprehensive analysis of new developments in organizational structure and functioning.
