3. Research Methodology
This research is qualitative research. The first section is a study of historical data in the area that this section is divided into two guidelines, the first way is study of history that discourse from book by studying from the various documents that are related to an area of research. Another way is study history from oral. Using interviews with people who involved in the area with memories about Japanese army barracks are set up camp at Khao Thurian – Khao Cha Ngok as the core. Selection of the participants in research can be divided into three groups. Criteria for selection participants in each group are as follows:
- A group of local residents by selected who know history and memories related to the study area. The selection of participants base on the suggestion of people in the study area of 5 samples.
- A group of personal who are involved in development of the study area. Khao Phra Sub-district Administrative Organization Staffs, Khao Thurian Temple Abbot, Sub-district Headman, Village Headman and Tourism Officer in Nakhon Nayok province are 5 samples.
- A group of visitors that select only those visitors who interested in heritage culture associated World War II such as 37th Japanese Division memorial at Phrommani temple and museum building Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy are 10 samples.
The interviews to collect all the information by using the informal
conversation to allow the interviewee can relate stories freely. The study base on a method such information can be used as the database used in the research.
