Is there a way, when using Mega Menu to have it not resolve the menu item?

In other words, just make it a normal menu item that you have to click on to get to the page. The problem we are having is that a couple of the JomSocial menu items when displayed with Mega Menu are really slowing down the site because each time the page loads, Mega Menu has to resolve the menu item.

For example, we have a JomSocial member directory menu item so when you go to any page, MegaMenu forces JomSocial to get the member listing so that it can display it. This process is repeated in a couple of other menu items. In order to resolve this, I want Mega Menu to NOT have JomSocial look up the members until someone clicks on the menu item. Is that possible.

I am new to Mega Menu so it may be my set up, but I cannot find a place to change it for a single menu item.
