ประเด็นในการที่เราได้ไปศึกษา / สำรวจพื้นที่ มีอยู่ 3 ประเด็นหลักๆของการที่เราลงไปในพื้นที่ คือ 1. การพัฒนาของพื้นที่ในบริเวณนั้นๆ และแรงงานของพื้นที่บริเวณนั้นและโดยรอบ ในเรื่องของพื้นที่ที่ได้ลงไปทำการสำรวจ คือ ตลาดโรงเกลือ มีการจัดแบ่งเป็นโซนๆซึ่งในแต่ละโซนจะมีสินค้าที่แตกต่างกันไปหรืออาจจะมีสินค้าเหมือนกัน สินค้าไม่ว่าจะเป็นจำพวกของรองเท้า เสื้อผ้า ของใช้ ในแต่ละโซนจะมีการแบ่งคุณภาพของสินค้านั้นๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นของมือหนึ่ง ของมือสอง ของก๊อบ เกรดA เกรด B ในส่วนของแรงงานของพื้นที่ในบริเวณนั้นๆ ส่วนใหญ่แรงงานจะเป็นชาวเขมรเพราะพื้นที่บริเวณนั้น อยู่ใกล้กับประเทศกัมพูชา สาเหตุที่ประชากรเข้ามาเป็นแรงงานของไทยด้วยความสะดวก และมีรายได้ที่สูงกว่าประเทศกัมพูชา ปัจจุบันเจ้าของร้านภายในตลาดโรงเกลือส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นคนเขรมที่เป็นเจ้าของร้าน ส่วนน้องที่คนไทยเป็นเจ้าของร้าน
