قاضى البصرة المهيب والذباب الجسور ===========ذكر( الجاحظ ) فى كتابة ( الحيوان ) هذة القصة الجميلة عن القاضى (عبد الله بن سوار ) فقال "كان لنا بالبصرة قاض يقال له عبد الله بن سوار ,لم ير الناس حاكماً قط ولا زميتاً (وقورا ) ولا ركيناً ( رزينا),ولا وقراً حليماً ,ضبط من نفسه وملك من حركته مثل الذى ضبط وملك ,كان يصلى الغداة فى منزله ,وهو قريب الدار من مسجده , فيأتى مجلسه فيحتبى ولا يتكىء ,فلا يزال منتصباً ولا يتحرك له عضو, ولا يلتفت, ولا يحل حبوته, ولا يحول رجلاً عن رجل, ولا يعتمد على أحد شقيه, حتى كأنه بناء مبنى, أو صخرة منصوبه, فلا يزال كذلك حتى يقوم إلى صلاة الظهر ثم يعود إلى مجلسه، فلا يزال كذلك حتى يقوم إلى العصر ,ثم يرجع, فلا يزال كذلك حتى يقوم الى المغرب, ثم ربما عاد إلى محله, بل كثيراً ما يكون ذلك إذا بقي عليه من قراءه العهود والشروط والوثائق, ثم يصلى العشاء الاخيرة وينصرف. فالحق يقال :لم يقم فى طول تلك المدة والولايه مرة واحدة إلى الوضوء ,ولا أحتاج إليه ,ولا شرب ماء ولا غيره من الشراب ,كذلك كان شأنه فى طوال الأيام وفى قصارها, وفى صيفها وفى شتائها, وكان مع ذلم لا يحرك يده, ولا يشير برأسه, وليس إلا أن يتكلم ثم يوجز, ويبلغ بالكلام اليسير المعانى الكثيرة".فبينما هو كذلك ذات يوم وأصحابه حواليه ,وفى السّماطين ( الصفان) بين يديه, إذ سقط على أنفه ذباب فاطال المكث, ثم تحول إلى موّق (فرط العين مكان خروج الدمع ) عينيه ,فرام الصبر فى سقوطه على الموّق ,وعلى عضه ونفاذ خرطومه كما رام من الصبر على سقوطه على أنفه من غير أن يحرك أرنبته (طرف الانف ) ,أو يغضّن (يجعد وجهة مغضبا) وجهه أو يذب بإصبعه ,فلما طال ذلك عليه من الذباب وشغله وأوجعه أحرقه ,وقصد إلى مكان لا يحتمل التغافل ,أطبق جفنه الأعلى على جفنه الأسفل فلم ينهض ،فدعاه ذلك إلى أن والى بين الإطباق والفتح ,فتنحى ريثما سكن جفنه ,ثم عاد إلى موّقه بأشد من مرته الأولى فغمس خرطومه فى مكان كان قد أوهاه قبل ذلك ,فكان احتماله له أضعف ,وعجزه عن الصبر فى الثانيه أقوى ,فحرّك أجفانه وزاد فى شده الحركه وفى فتح العين ,وفى تتابع الفتح الإطباق ,فتنحى عنه بقدر ماسكنت حركته ثم عاد إلى موضعه .فما زال يلح عليه إلى أن فرغ صبره وبلغ مجهوده ,فلم يجد بدا فى أن يذب عن عينيه بيده ,ففعل ,وعيون القوم إليه ترمقه,وكأنهم لا يرونه ,فتنحى عنه بقدر ما ردّ يده وسكنت حركته ثم عاد إلى موضعه ,ثم ألجأه إلى أن تابع بين ذلك, وعلم أن فعله كله بعين من حضره من أمنائه وجلسائه , فلما نظروا إليه قال:"أشهد أن الذباب ألد من الخنفساء وأزهى من الغراب وأستغفر الله فما أكثر من اعجبته نفسه فأراد الله -عز وجل أن يعّرفه من ضعفه ما كان عنه مستوراً وقد علمت أنّى عند الناس من أزمت ( الوقور ) الناس ,فقد غلبنى وفضحنى أضعف خلقه ثم تلا قول الله تعالى:"وإن يسلبهم الذباب شيئاً لا يستنقذوه منه ضعف الطالب والمطلوب".) والجاحظ هذا كان من روؤس المعتزلة صاحب فرقة يقال لها الجاحظية وكان رقيق الديانة وماجنا
