VW Golf Cabriolet chính thức ngừng sản xuất tại Anh

Volkswagen UK đang dần loại bỏ dòng sản phẩm Golf Cabriolet của mình, mặc dù các mô hình nâng cấp của nó mới được tung ra hơn 1 năm.

Nguồn tin cho biết, do nhu cầu khách hàng đối với sản phẩm mui trần đang giảm dần, VW đã ngừng sản xuất dòng Golf Cabriolet, bất chấp việc dòng sản phẩm này vừa giới thiệu phiên bản nâng cấp vào cuối năm ngoái.

VW Group cũng đang thực hiện một loạt các biện pháp tiết kiệm chi phí để nâng cao giá trị thương hiệu sau khi phải đối mặt với bê bối khí thải Dieselgate. Chính vì thế, Golf Cabriolet đang dần được “nghỉ hưu” vì nó là một sản phẩm bán chậm và không mang lại nhiều lợi nhuận tài chính. Thay vào đó, nguồn lực sẽ tập trung vào việc phát triển chiếc Tiguan tại nhà máy Wolfsburg, Đức.

Cùng lý do đó, rất có thể danh sách “khai tử” tiếp theo sẽ là mẫu Beetle Cabriolet vì nó cũng là một sản phẩm có doanh số bán chậm.
