I think we understand *enough for now* about this paper (and the thesis of
Weidl). The main thing we got here was the method to calculate the pitch angle
diffusion coefficient. The rest is *NOT* important at this point.
The questions that we should answer are (a) how do our results compare to the
traditional method of calculating the diffusion coefficient, (b) are there
other methods, (c) how well does the Quasilinear theory work for slab
turbulence, or other turbulence.
We have already answered (c) in part, but should do (a) in order to complete this.
The *secondary* things in Weidl et al. -- (d) we can 'fit' our results to some
form, like they do. (e) we are not interested in the cross-helicity in the
their paper, but I'm working on a magnetic field with people in Newcastle that
might be able to involve this. Then it could become relevant. Related is the
addition of the electric field (f).
