LES VOYAGES FORMENT LA JEUNESSE
Les premiers grands voyages, qu’on effectue seul ou en groupe, à l’entrée dans l’âge adulte, ont toujours
les mêmes avantages. Ils permettent aux jeunes de découvrir le monde, d’aller à la rencontre des autres et
de devenir autonome.
Ils permettent de « s’arracher à sa terre natale, de couper les liens avec sa mère », de s’ouvrir à d’autres
manières de vivre et de se retrouver soi-même, de casser les habitudes pour se reconstruire. Les voyages
forment la jeunesse… Et, à l’heure de la mondialisation, ils sont devenus encore plus indispensables à
cette formation.
Pourtant, curieusement, très peu de jeunes Français aujourd’hui voyagent. Les 18-24 ans sont même ceux
qui partent le moins de chez eux.
