Các vấn đề kinh tế vĩ mô như hàng tồn kho, vướng mắc liên quan đến xử lý tài sản thế chấp, đang được các cơ quan hữu quan thực hiện như Hiệp hội Ngân hàng đã có văn bản số 284/RC-HHNH ngày 20/08/2013 kiến nghị về một số vướng mắc pháp lý trong hoạt động của các TCTD. Những khó khăn khác liên quan đến môi trường kinh tế vĩ mô cần phải được thực hiện bởi sự phối hợp giữa các ban ngành trong cả nước, chỉ mình ngành ngân hàng thôi chưa đủ và cần có thời gian và chưa thể giải quyết trong ngắn hạn. Những vấn đề còn lại có thể giải quyết qua một số giải pháp:
