Architecture is an area of knowledge difficult to define when it is immersed in it. Perhaps those who are not with the pen and parchment paper on hand to define better. But I'll take my chances to set it in a very personal way. The English architect Ralph Erksine said in an interview with Danish architect and urban planner Jan Gehl "to be a good architect you have to have love for people, because the architecture is an applied art and deals with the frame of the life of the people". So, for me, the architecture has as its essence the function of serving the human being. The practice should be further filtered by predation of natural resources, that is, she must serve man in harmony with the natural cycles already exist. So I, aspiring architect, succeed in practice to conceive spaces that serve the human being, I believe it is necessary to be started in a previous practice. We need to work in an awakening of conscience about the large number of different social realities in our world. This awakening can find their activation energy in practice to travel. When we get the opportunity to get out of our comfort zone, we get our clothes from the routine and GO, present us with an opening of horizons, a progressive filter in our eyes aiming for the world. As luggage back these experiences bring personal growth which will certainly influence the activity of serving. It is necessary to "human being" to serve "the human". After inciarmos our learning about the human, I believe it is imprenscindível learn to serve. From interest to supply what the next needs, we will have as a result of learning to see the need of others. Volunteer, donate for a cause can help us a lot to tread this path. In the field of architecture and construction, volunteering can bring large differentials in the lives of the architects and consequently in the industry. From the moment that professionals if make to donate, and then learn to serve and see the other can have a consequence on very valioza industry production. We can generate a more socially and environmentally conscious production, a more coherent and faithful architecture the real needs of users. Personally, I try to immerse yourself in the most varied architecture scenarios. Do this through trips and involvement in different projects. Until then, such experiences have shaped me in my area of interest. In the field of architecture often professional to have a greater understanding of the subject claim to dictate what he believes is best projectualmente in people's lives. Their technical knowledge and references lead him to observe around but its creation comes from the inside out. In my experiments projected out of my comfort zone, that is, outside of my country, my city, I realized that it's not always what I had learned as the ideal solution came to be if you want taken into account in another context. So, which is good for us is not always a good solution for the other. Therefore, the project process to me suffered a reversal – I spent to create from the outside in-observe, understand, learn, coolaborar and serve. And so the final design is not the intent of a person but a mutual creation and coolaborativa.
