A B S T R A C T
Ethnopharmacological and ethnobotanical approaches are described in the literature
as efficient to identify plants of interest for phytochemical and pharmacological
studies. In the present work, we reflect on the quality of the data collected in ethnodirected
studies. In accordance to the problems identified in published studies, and
their theoretical and methodological underpinnings, we believe that these studies are
poorly suited to contribute to the advancement of research aimed at the development
of novel drugs.

一个C T传统和民族植物学的方法在文献中描述为有效识别感兴趣的植物化学成分和药理作用研究。在目前的工作中，体现我们对收集到的数据ethnodirected质量研究。根据已发表的研究中确定的问题，和他们的理论和方法的基础上，我们认为这些研究很不适应，有助于促进研究的发展，旨在发展新型药物。
