I would like to take a moment to introduce you to my family. I am a single mother of

three children. My oldest daughter is 14, my son is 10, and the youngest daughter is

1 years old. I am 34 years old and my family comes from Vietnam, but I was born

and raised in America. I would like my kids to understand the Vietnamese culture

and learn how to speak the language.

Our family goes on family vacations once a year. Earlier this year, we went Miami,

Florida and California. Last year, we went to Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida. We

love to travel and do outdoor activities. I come from a large family as well that

consists of 5 sisters and one brother. We all live within a ten-mile radius of each

other. We come from a very family oriented background.

Our community is a great community to live in. It was listed as one of the best small

communities to live in by the Huffington Post. We have access to a recreation center

that consists of swimming, outdoor activities, dancing, etc. There is also plenty of

parks and community colleges nearby.

We would love to become a host family so my children can be exposed to different

cultures and learn a new language. Some of the responsibilities the Au Pair would be

responsible for to care for the toddler when I am at work and the children are at

school. This includes, feeding, bathing, putting the child down for a nap, playing, and

teaching the toddler. Once the older children are out of school, they would need to

be picked up from school and driven home. Once they are home from school, they

would need to be fed an afternoon snack.
